Star Defence Logistics & Engineering (SDLE) is a Spanish engineering company in Defence and Security area, with presence in more than 25 countries and wide experience in 3D mechanical design, jamming and communication systems integration.
SDLE has gained wide experience in repair, maintenance and upgrading of armoured vehicles, besides of being independent distributor of spare parts for military vehicles and equipment. The Company exports to more than 25 countries, and is official supplier of NATO and the United Nations. 20% of SDLE staff has more than 30 years of experience in the Defence sector.
The SDLE professionals understand the demanding requests of the armed forces and are concerned with satisfying the qualitative needs of the client, advising and training in systems maintenance and operation.
In 2018, SDLE was included by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in the Public Register of Innovative Small and Medium-size Enterprise (SME). The Group also doubled its staff, exceeding in december 2019 the 170 workers. This growth and turning to innovation leads SDLE to be leader in logistical and technological support services, as well as in UAV technologies design.
With a long tradition behind the supply of spare parts and maintenance services for industrial systems, since its foundation in 2009, Star Defence Logistics & Engineering has positioned itself as one of the main suppliers of the military sector in Spain.
Aeronautica SDLE is the Group division focused on development and integration of unmanned aerial systems for both defence and security use. In these areas, SDLE stands out for its solutions designed to improve the situational awareness of land vehicles, and also for manufacturing C-UAS systems adapted to the emerging needs.
